Updating Tournamatch

Automatic Updates

The easiest way to update Tournamatch is to use the automatic method in the WordPress update dashboard.

1. Navigate to your Admin Dashboard and click Updates.

   

2. Scroll down to the plugin section and click the Update Now link within the Tournamatch section.

   

Manual Updates

You may also manually update Tournamatch by downloading the latest version and uploading via FTP. You should upload to the /wp-content/plugins directory. WordPress will handle the rest of the update process once it discovers the new version.

Software Version

We attempt to follow the guidelines defined in Semantic Versioning 2.0.0 as much as possible. Our version numbers follow the MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH format. Given a version number change in this format:

• a change in the MAJOR version means one or more backwards incompatible changes to the software.
• a change in the MINOR version means new functionality or that we made one or more changes in a backwards compatible manner.
• a change in the PATCH version means one or more backwards compatible bug fixes.
